Astraius is a British company that operates a horizontal launch system, which will deliver payloads up to 800kg to LEO and SSO starting in 2024. The company's infrastructure in Scotland includes an advanced Prestwick Spaceport and mission control center, both of which will be customized for Astraius' operations. Astraius' launch vehicle is built upon a system successfully used by the US Government for over 30 complex missions. Its horizontal launch system uses the proven C-17 Globemaster transport aircraft flown by USAF, Royal Air Force, and other air forces around the globe.
